Okay, I actually have a real opinion today! And it's not only an opinion: It's a need, a demand if you will.
I want EMI or whoever's in charge to release the entire catalogue of The Beatles' classic and timeless capitol albums on CD. They're already on the market as box sets (some of them), which is just so crappy it's barely mentionable. I want to be able to buy all of them - from 'Meet The Beatles' to the US take on 'Revolver' - as single discs, with that unique yet simple sound that made them stand out from their British counterparts. I want to hear the slightly different American albums with a fresh CD sound! I mean, think about it! The Americans probably want to hear The Beatles as they remember them from the 60's, to most of them it must be like a nighmare having to listen to the British (original, but still...) versions.
Well, to sum this shit up - hearing the Capitol albums on CD would be like revisiting The Beatles' world of music, who wouldn't want to do that?
- Peter
PS: I wouldn't download them - I'm a collector, not a stingy slacker.
